American rider Jennifer Wooten and her mare The Good Witch are bidding to become the first combination to complete five different CCI**** events
The combination finished 11th at Pau in 2007, seventh at Rolex Kentucky in 2008, 31st at Burghley in 2009 and 18th at Luhmuhlen last year.
“The good Witch is a seasoned traveller, so is used to long trips,” says Jennifer. “I have always wanted to compete at Badminton since watching videos as a child.”
Jennifer hasn’t ruled out completing the full set of four-stars by going to Adelaide, too. “It’s a 13-hour flight from Los Angeles to Australia, compared to the 10 hours it took to fly to Amsterdam followed by a lorry drive here,” she adds.
Jennifer and The Good Witch will perform their dressage here at Badminton at 9.56 tomorrow morning.
